1947

Ned Yagmich estabilished the current vineyard in 1947. Ned's family having arrived from the Dalmatian Coast in the early twenties, where generations of his ancestors had cultivated vines and olives, to make wine and olive oil for over 300 years. This was the same for his mother's father (Marin Banovich) who came in 1911 and during his lifetime operated four vineyards along Oakover Road, Middle Swan.

2000

Yagmich Estate produced its first Swan Valley commercial wine in 2000. The proprietor, Dennis yagmich as well as being a former first class cricketer continues the family tradition. The Yagmich Estate vineyards produce samll quantities of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc and Semillon grapes, with the majority of the fruit produced on 20 year old vines.

2005

The 2005 Shiraz received a Silver Award at the 2006 Perth Royal Wine Show.

2008

The Shiraz won a bronze medal at both the Royal Perth Show and the Swan Valley Wine Show in 2009.

2009

The Shiraz won a bronze medal at both the Royal Perth Show and the Swan Valley Wine Show in 2009.

2021

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon wins the gold medal and the Alan Dineen Memorial Trophy for best wine in Swan Valley Wine Show. The trophy is sponsored by the Swan Valley Vintners and is wine that best identifies with the Swan Valley chosen by the Chairman of the wine judges. The judging criteria include ingenuity and an imaginative and innovative wine.
